Consolidate character Sex and gender into one tab

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently the more complex character sex & gender related details are somewhat all over the place being scattered between Presentation, Origins, Mental, and Relations with little rhyme or reason to the point where many of them could be assumed to be tucked under other tags such as physical, personal, or social. This leads to them being in the way when they arn't revant and unusually difficult to find when they are.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

putting them under a new unified tab would make everything easier to find, closely linked, and would make world bulding easier as you tend to want to remain in one headspace rather than jumping between topics and losing track of details.   A large portion of the gender prompts are based on self preception, presentation, and ideals aganst cultural belifs, dominant norms, and close relationships. As such, there's a clear and common tendancy to jump back and forwards between these tabs when developing these character aspects.

What are other uses for this feature request?

This would not only make the gender options easier to find, but would also make the other tabs more concise as well. It would also reduce redundancy and internal inconsistancies from inadvertantly forming

Follow up

On a basic level it wouldn’t be hard to implement, it wouldn’t mess with existing content, and it would also move the clutter out of the way for minor characters that are WYSIWYG in those aspects.

Very good idea! The fields have been moved around a lot lately and I feel this would be a convenient occasion to fine-tune the new arrangements for better usability in the day-to-day article editing and creation.

This change is definitely needed! All of the prompts about gender and sexuality are just randomly scattered throughout the tabs, and when you view the article all of this information that looks like it should go together is in different places: the sidebar, the main content, etc.

While the current situation works well enough for me, I can see how the proposed change would be an asset to a fair few folks' workflows. And personally, it would make it faster for me to input a character's more complex aspects regarding gender if everything were all in one place, rather than jumping across a bunch of tabs.   Just not 100% sure this is a change that warrants the time I can imagine rearranging the template would take, though. Not with how much else is in development.
