Suggestion Suggestions ("Hey, We Already Had That Suggestion!")
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I used the Search bar to see if anybody had suggested it. I didn't see any, so I'm making one. So it's gonna be REAL ironic if somebody else already suggested this.
It would be great if you made some bot that scans this composition form and also your cuurent Suggestions while this new suggestion is being composed, and on the sidebar it says "hey there, your post sounds similar to THESE posts, be sure to vote for their suggestion if it's the same as what you're asking for."
How does this feature request address the current situation?
You can cut down on how often you have to repeat yourself, closing out redundant suggestions, and we don't waste our time and tokens making a duplicate.
What are other uses for this feature request?
You might have automatic filter or warnings like "that doesn't sound like it aligns with our company policies, be sure to review THIS before posting it".
You could probably also combine this idea with a scraping algorithm that can give you fun stats about your Suggestions for who knows what applications.

Unfortunately, this kind of technology is only useful if it's very intelligent, otherwise it just gets in the way. It's a good idea, but we'd rather spend our time on worldbuilding features! Thanks for suggesting it anyway :)23/300 Votes · +5202 points
