New event editor lacks "timelines" section
The old style editor has a section for historical events had a section to select which timelines the event should appear on. Many events would apply to different parspectives on history, after all. The new editor needs a way to easily add this as well.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Currently, this requires creating the event, then going to the timelines section, viewing all events from standard timelines, finding the event you created, and then edit it to select timelines. The functionality is clearly there, just very annoying to get to.What are other uses for this feature request?
Avoid duplicate events being created, which will mess up any articles they're linked to.Follow up
It now exists and I'm more than happy! My only request now is for it to be possible to close this request without waiting for an official response. ;)

on 2024-02-19 17:31The new in-timeline editor is so nice and easy to use, needing to leave it to handle multi-timeline events in the old clunky way is tragic. Very much hoping this is an easy fix!
