When looking from a RPG point of view it would be nice to be able to section of your information with in "DC level." Example. Demographics: 0-5: There are alot of people here 6-10: Majority of population is human 11-15: Next to humans dwarf are the most common. 15-20: Exact percentile population of a place.

This would add premade fields that could be added. This could also be revieled depending on what level what to be shown. This could make different players have different knowledge in a simple way.

It could be interesting tagging it with what "skill" would be needed for unlocking the information. You can also use this on NPC to set a knowledge level of a location for instance and have that information pop up on the npc.

Something like this would be amazing as its kind of like creating a stat block but for more info outside of combat and dungeons, it would just be nice to have a section dedicated for town statistics, region statistics like population and such. this way i can link a stat section of a town called OakHaven from the descriptive page.

While I think it's a neat idea, I just don't know that it's universal enough to warrant being implemented into every template even across RPGs as check DCs vary so much between systems. As a GM, I'm not sure I'd know how to use it even within my RPG worlds, as the data varies in many cases depending on the context of the check being made.   If I wanted to do something like this for an article, I'd probably use the secrets function and pair it with adding the revealed information into the section for information seeded to players.

I'm going with +1 points as I like the idea behind this, but as someone else said, it would probably be better suiter for a personalized RPG template.

DC Level is only in some RPGs, I think a broader more personalized RPG rules template would work better than this very narrow suggestion.   Or one could just stick with generic templates for RPG rules.

As someone running the campaign, I would like to be able to reveal specific tidbits at a time as they discover more about something.

I think this sounds useful for those using the RPG features. I agree it should only activate if you ARE using RPG features, but otherwise I support it!

i dont think this should be the focus right now, a usable dm screen is more important than implementing vtt features

It sounds cool, but I truthfully would want this to be implemented that this is only going to be a thing in worlds with a RPG system (like how you can only access the session report template if you have a RPG system designated for the world). Again, I really think this is cool, and personally, this could be so much fun to use in RPGs (and help me plan out the skill checks), but it's such an RPG exclusive feature that I really think it should only be a thing if the world has a designated system. Like, if anyone else can come up with a way that this kind of skill checking system would be useful for authors than maybe make it universal, but truthfully I can't think of one.
