Hi,
me and my team are writing the timeline for our setting. The events of our world are defined by "seasons" (like tv shows) and we would like to separete seasons in different timelines for clarity. Unfortunately we previously marked the events in a single timeline. We could use the "Eras" function but the timeline would still be too long to navigate clearly.
Because there is no "copy article" or "Duplicate timeline" function, we will have to copy them manually one by one into a different timeline.
We would like you to add this function to streamline this process. It could also be helpful to keep track of a setting where there are very similar but different timeines to keep track of.
thank you
Attaching events to multiple timelines is already a thing and I use it a lot. What you can't do is also attach eras to multiple timelines so these have to be duplicated manually which is a bit of a shame. Would like to see more support for setting up "parallel" timelines quickly and easily by cloning them from existing ones which you could then edit later.
You can already change which timeline an event is in or put it in multiple timelines without duplicating it: https://www.worldanvil.com/learn/timelines/add-existing-event There also is already a feature to copy articles: https://www.worldanvil.com/learn/article-guides/copy-article
