What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  The whiteboard feature is really good! I find it especially usefull to prepare a scenario. In it's current state, it's possible to put article links on the whiteboard and even customize the way the link looks. However, to see the article itself, which is the first reason you put it there, you need to open the article in another tab. This isn't convenient because you end up with a lot of articles opened in your browser instead of quickly accessing their content without changing tab. You loose time navigating between them.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

The possibility to get a preview (in a tooltip) of an articleblock present on the whiteboard by mousing over it would adress the problem. This functionnality already exists in worldanvil (https://www.worldanvil.com/w/WorldAnvilCodex/a/previews) and it would be fantastic to have it integrated in whiteboards!
