Event type: Linguistic evolution

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Language is a key part of fantastic worlds, and there are many situations in which keeping track of the progression of changes in the use of words, word contractions, name changes etc. could actually be a significant part of a world that does not fall under other categories, but which the author would like to separate from Miscellaneous events.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Adding the option for "Linguistic Evolution," "Language Event" or some such terminology would allow tracking evolutions in terminology within a world.

What are other uses for this feature request?

This could also be used to mark the moment a person, place or event's name was changed, if the change was not sparked for political, marital or other reasons already covered by the event types listed.

Pretty minor use, but it would be nice to be able to note things like vowel shifts over time.

It's really mostly the "other uses" that convinced me to toss a few coins into this. Linguistic evolutions are so rarely single events, as opposed to an event over hundreds of years. But it's not impossible! Lots of things in WA are highly specific and situational. This seems like an easy one to add.

Marginal use, but fun. I like it.
