Inheriting permissions from a category would probably be the tech here. Not automatic, but a button for categories to make all articles inside inherit and an article to inherit from category (if in one). Discord has a similar implementation for channel permissions, so this concept is already ingrained into the zoomer ui-hivemind

I would suggest being able to select multiple articles and edit basic info, like permissions, or being able to move all of them to another category, etc. That would make my life so much easier.
