Add Once-Per-Year Celestial Objects To Calendars

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

To give some context to this suggestion, I'm looking into setting up zodiac signs for my fantasy world. Currently, when you add a celestial object to your calendar, it repeats indefinitely through its cycle, and cannot be set to appear one (or more) time per year. If I want to add my zodiac constellations to the calendar at all as things currently stand, I would have to add them as an event rather than as a celestial object, and I would prefer not to clutter my calendar with too many events.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

My suggestion is that you allow for certain celestial objects to appear a set number of times per year, the number of which can be changed in settings. This way, I will be able to set up each zodiac sign to display on the calendar for a single cycle.

What are other uses for this feature request?

I believe this would also be useful for other celestial objects, such as planets which only appear at certain times during the year, or for comets, meteor showers, and eclipses when one doesn't want to add them as an event.

The Team's Response

I suggest adding these events as regular events, which can be yearly. Calendars will be upgraded in the future, but for now this won't be implemented.
