flashback dream vision
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Our campaign features a lot of flashbacks, dreams and visions and I would like to be able to be able to manage those. I can use generic articles but I would love to be able to set things like:
- The person that has the Flashback/Dream/Vision
- What triggered the Flashback/Dream/Vision?
- What type was it? Flashback/Dream/Vision
And then we could see things like:
- Which flashbacks has a person had?
- Which visions were there about a location
How does this feature request address the current situation?
It allows a template where you can set some additional details. Right now I solve flashbacks by making the receiver one of the related characters but that is not as clear as I would like so I have to put a descriptive line at the top of the article.
By making it a seperate template, we can also see all the flashbacks a person has had, or all the visions about a specific location, for example.
What are other uses for this feature request?
It can help a GM prepare upcoming flashbacks, dreams and visions, keep track of which ones have been shared and what the characters' theories about it were, which can help preparing future sessions.
The Team's Response
Thank you for your suggestion! Depending on the way you're using these, I would recommend these to keep track of them:
secrets
historical events
plot articles
If you want to keep a standardized set of questions, I recommend keeping these in your notebooks.
Finally, you can create a custom article template for these if you really want one!
