What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
We are able to create articles for people in our stories, or we can create characters using the NPC templates. It would be nice to have a way to merge the two so that if a character template is used to create the person, it can be "transfered" into an article for your novel, or vise-versa.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Currently, this is not an ability, so it would add functionality for those who go back and forth between campaigns and story writing.What are other uses for this feature request?
The ability to "transfer" content from a template to an article, would enable players to give their characters to a GM for use as an NPC or when the game is concluded and a story is written about it.The Team's Response
Hi! This is already possible. In the campaign manager, when you create an NPC you can connect it to an existing Character/Person article (the option is under "Advanced Options". If you don't connect it to an existing article, a new Character article will be created in your world instead.
