Tables -charts editing

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

After inserting a table it cannot be edited in size (how many rows and columns) nor can it be copied and pasted somewhere else.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

It allows one to reuse tables in other articles or make adjustments. For example, it would be useful for languages, so instead of retyping an IPA chart one could just copy and paste one from another previously made article in.     If this is in fact already possible, please let me know :)

To clarify; I'm talking about the Insert table function available in any textbox in an article, available to subscription. My apologies for any confusion.

Just recently noticed how annyoing it is to copy a table! I fully endorse this notion.

I'm a little bit unsure about exactly which table function we're talking about. Looking in the Codex there are three types documented there, BBCode, Block Tables and Interactive Tables (a Master+ feature). I tend to use BBCode tables and they certainly can be copied and edited easily. I guess this is about interactive tables? The documentation suggests they can also be edited but maybe this isn't working as desired? Perhaps the OP can provide some clarification.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, the Tables tool, or the insert table function in the text editor?   Either way, I can edit and move my tables around, I'm really not sure what you're talking about.
