Hit Locations

Shroud Sensitive

Vecora can intrinsically sense weft and warp with much greater acuity than most. They gain access to the Pattern Control skill even without a domain. They are considered one echelon higher when using Pattern Control and gain an extra 10% to the skill. Pattern Control is broadly useful, it allows a person to utilize shroudspeach, sense life around them, read emotions, and hide themselves from the perceptions of other beings with shroudsense.

Intrinsic Barrier

Vecora can generate a barrier of weft that gives DR equal to 1/5th of their POW (rounded up). If damage is reduced this way, the Vecora will lose MP equal to 2x the damage reduced. The barrier can be lowered or raised, as a free action. The barrier covers all hit locations.

When a caustic or incendiary material strikes the armor it reacts with a wash of a neutralizing agent, preventing acid and flame from easily damaging the armor integrity. All acid damage is prevented and the acid is immediately washed off or neutralized, preventing its lingering damage. Fires are reduced in Intensity by 2. The armor can only react this way 3 times before needing to be maintenanced.
Increase amount of times neutralizing can apply before needing maintenance. Decrease damage from sources of flame. Decrease more intensity from flames.

Soul Pilot

4 rune slots on a Control System of a vehicle, a bound spirit, 12,000 sv worth of warp skeins, perception weft, and rare gems.

A bound spirit is wired into the piloting system of the vehicle, allowing it to make a simple Maintain Control action each Combat Round without the pilot needing to spend an action or even be present.

The pilot can communicate (albeit one-sidedly) with the soul pilot to make their wishes known, but the soul pilot makes the decisions for how to spend its actions making training the soul pilot an important part of the construction process. Souls are known to be erratic at times and can learn unintended lessons, but can also be extremely useful.

Allow the spirit to make other actions such as more complicated piloting maneuvers or using weapons. Increase the number of actions the soul pilot can take each round.

Taosri Cleansing Chimes

3 rune slots. 500 sv of cleansing weft and isopropyl alcohol.

Activated by strongly ringing the chimes and supplying 3 MP
An area with radius 5m around the chimes is cleaned of dirt, grime, and is thoroughly sanitized. Wear and tear are not repaired, and most poisons will not be removed from foods or liquids.
Increase area of cleaning. Increase cleaning to include purification of poisons. Reduce MP cost. Allow chimes to remove other hazards like acid or fire.

Weft Detector

4 rune slots, 6,000 sv worth of perception weft and derumnose creeper sap

Displays the location of significant patterns of weft, such as vehicles, monsters, and powerful weaves, within 300m.
Increase range, reveal more information about targets than just location
