The Center

The Center, a region in Kivosia containing many natural portals and rifts leading to other planes, with many outsiders coming and going there, and even some settlements of celestials, fiends, elementals, and fey. This is a dangerous region to mortals, and is avoided by many. One safeguarded area is a portal to Sigil, city of doors, and through it come people and ideas from across the Material Plane and beyond. It is under the protection of Nakia Navari, an independent aasimar noble who demands an exorbitant price for entry.

Geography

The Center's geography is bizarre to say the least, affected more by the nearby portals and extraplanar inhabitants than by natural effects. For example, fey regions are forested and bright, shadow regions gloomy and dark, and elemental areas are windy, rocky, volcanic, or wet.
