Orc

The orcish race, most common in Kivosia, has a unique history among the peoples of that continent. Though they originate from a world beyond, orcs have gained a reputation for bravery and resilience in the millennia since. Some fear them, and some respect them, but none can deny that orcs are survivors.

Orcs are mostly found In Kivosia, though some have made their way to the coasts of other continents.

Civilization and Culture

History

Orcs originally hail from a world called Tybor, one that was ravaged by a violent revolution in ancient times against its orcish rulers by other races on that world. The merciless gods of Tybor retaliated cruelly, dooming the world to endless war and a slow death. A large group of orc survivors rejected their evil gods, and with the help of a mighty mage, teleported themselves to Zosoa, specifically the Center in Kivosia.
Upon finding out that the world was inhabited, they decided to join human society to avoid conflict, as they could not afford it with their low population at the time. Eventually, humans realized that orcs were a benefit to them, and orcs began to find it easier to integrate into human nations in Kivosia. Over time, they formed their own sovereign kingdoms, Saydrol and Movak, though the latter was conquered by the Kivosian Empire.
Ancient Tybran culture has not disappeared, however, as the orcs of Saydrol are dedicated to preserving this culture--while still allowing their civilization to progress--instead of taking on human ones.

Skin comes in shades of grey and green, though more often the former. Orcs have brown or silver hair, and amber, grey, or brown eyes.
