This continent, set far below the equator in the midst of an otherwise vast expanse of monster-infested ocean, is largely uncharted, inhabited by some of the most dangerous creatures ever documented, and the site of one of the most tremendous interplanar phenomena in recorded history. The only known safe establishment on the entire continent is the small town of Creston on a shield island called Redbar, an old explorers’ base of operations, which grew into an outcast’s haven, and eventually into a small city made wealthy by its miracle crop, commonly known as sandleaf.
