Session 6: The Dragoonies

General Summary

• Met Zeke, shared stories, was assured he'd take care of problems in forest and keep towns safe, told him about Tervus and their quest, he showed you his pegasus spirit mount, Zeke went on patrol

• While he was away, party discussed what they should call themselves, agreed they'd say they're adventurers but not draw attention to their magic items, decided on the name 'Lumina's Dragoons', though Yngis suggested they be the 'Dragoonies'. Maybe they'll make a banner. Woke up next morning to find Zeke gone, but he left them some treasure he looted from the goblins, along with some magic herbs to heal them if they got hurt

• Reached Seyda, went directly to the docks to find a ship, Blu saw his sister and brother but did not approach them, talked to Harbourmaster and Captain, learned Captain lost Sea Chart in a gambling match, needed to find Lucky Clive at the tavern of the Bargewright Inn

• Went to tavern, met Veruca (the sister Blu likes), learned Blu's name is Orthus, got a meal and confronted Clive who agreed to discuss the map if they could beat him in a game of chance, lost 10 silver, realized he was cheating and called him on it, intimidated him into confessing he traded the Sea Chart to the Old Hag for a magic die which he gave to the party so they'd leave him alone and not rat him out

• Returned to Harbourmaster, asked if they could get a boat to the edge of the Witchwood, told they'd need either a rowboat or fisherman's boat, Captain said he'd send one of his men to row them out (Lars, a childhood friend of Blu's), Lars and Blu caught up and they set off

• Made camp on shore at edge of Witchwood, Giant Boar stumbled into the camp while Rath was on watch in middle of night, a battle ensued, they slew the boar and prepared to butcher it later by stringing it up on a branch to drain it (Bud ate a protein pill from Yngis which made him stronger)
