Nerenzah Pass

A mountain pass at the southern edge of Western Kantrinna and a major trade route that is also the only way through the Nerenzah Mountain Range, which that separates the continent. Through the pass, one can get to the furthest edge of Western Kantrinna and also to Southern Kantrinna and beyond.   Nestled into the Nerenzah mountains is a trading post where travelers can seek lodging, trade wares and stories, and shop for necessities. This trading post is made up of a series of walkways and bridges connected to towers, below which are numerous subterranean rooms.   An Official Proclamation from Governor Pellton Dunkirk in Marabin notes that travel to and from Marabin to the Nerenzah Pass is prohibited until further notice on account of bandit activity. Unbeknownst to many, the Governor has quietly made a deal with a group of...mercenaries (Rhiyle's Crew) to secure the Trading Post after an incursion of monsters. Monster attacks are becoming more common, but Dunkirk likely wants to avoid a panic and so he is keeping this information close to his vest.   When the Dragoons reached the Trading Post in the Pass, the Crew had cleared out the monsters, had started making repairs, and have been patrolling the area to keep it safe. The Pass is still closed until the situation improves, but Rhiyle has allowed the adventurers to pass through the West Gate (the Southern Gate being closed for the path still being to dangerous).
