Al Doorah (City)

Before the Erasure: The capital city of The Shifting Sands of Al Doorah . Originally built upon a deep oasis in 747 by scholar Alpheus Hedoorah . Alpheus was a renowned scientist and doctor, and during the First Cycle of Pestilence, he discovered the disease had difficulty spreading in the dry heat of the Sanrahah Desert, and there was a mass migration to the once scarcely populated lands. This unification made the founded the original population of this resilient city that has lasted through the ages. The city of Al Doorah has remained a stable presence in the southern hemisphere, through war and disaster, the city remains. The people of Al Doorah are diverse, and known for their interest in science, medicine, and law.

After the Erasure: The drop in world water levels has had a direct effect on the gradual draining of the Al Doorah Oasis. As the oasis drained, the powerful tried to maintain its grasp on the remaining water. Citizens of Al DoorahThe Shifting Sands of Al Doorah started to migrate towards the capital city as the more rural lands dried out. Civil unrest slowly started to spread across the capital city, rates of theft and assault begin to rise, and local law enforcement is occupied guarding whats left in the oasis and granaries.
