Time Storms
A Horrible Mishap

"Many times my young pup, many times. Storms roll through and all that is left is mass of flesh, bone, and gore. This is what we should pray for as the stories of what lives through these are worse."
Outside of the towering pillars of Wave 38 ripples appear at random and there is a slight chance that ripples will reverb off each other and cause damaging effects to buildings, people, and animals. Stories of "spliced creatures" or Abominations of where dinosaurs caught in the ripples fuse together, which often results in large piles of just flesh and bone, and isn't viable and living.
Manifestation
If you have every skipped stones with friends and you purposely try to skip your stone near their's and it creates a mess of ripples. That is about the only analogy that can be given to best describe these events. The sky does not darken, there is no clash of lighting, there is only a ringing like someone shot next to your ear or a bomb just went off. Deafening and disorienting it is one of the most dangerous things to happen in the world of Tyleth.
Localization
Within the WildLands, they have the highest chance of happening, though the plains around DryLock Lake seems to up the ante so to speak and increase the percentage of Time Storms.
- There are numerous stories of the Abominations Time Storms have created, but nothing has ever had concrete facts or evidence to support such claims.
- There is a rumor of a Nomad tribe having a single living abomination of two predators having been fused together, but the name, location, and any information on said tribe is either non-existent or missing.
- Yes, nothing has ever shown to be particularly amiss with the random bits of dinosaur and what have you to be deemed unsafe for carnivores to eat.
- Human consumption is not known if safe or not but it seems plausible it is safe, maybe just not appetizing.
