Hair weaving

History

It was at first a way to remember your loved ones by taking a part of them with you when away from the other and keeping something as a reminder if they died far away and you couldn't get their corpse back. The hair were the simpler since they are often kept long and the feathers were added after the Wing Giving started.

Execution

When two lovers part for the first time after becoming lovers or admitting their feelings, they braid a strand of the other's hair in theirs. They add to that a few feathers from their two birds.
