Sicklite Blood

The Sicklite; a creature of odd proportions and strange abilities, the Sicklite collects lighting. Thin and tall, walking on four legs, each stringy and different, the sicklite has two large horns atop it's squarish head. With eyes like looking into the sun and a diet of lighting, sicklites are dangerous to keep and a spectacle in nature.
Believed to be holy and ancient by the Flarian tribes, they are honored and seen as a sign of luck and a coming of good health in nature. with skin impossible for human weapons to pierce, it would be impossible for a human to taste the sweet blood of the Sicklite without the help of a silent partner.
There is a creature out there that drinks Sicklite blood, and drives metal stakes through the front left hoof of the Sicklite. once done, the stake is left, leaving the Sicklite with a limp and a blood siphon, which only drips on stormy nights. Sicklite farming is a dangerous work and is only worth the risk for the blood which can cure any poison or venom.
The blood leaves the drinker cured, confused, and dazed for about 12 hours. It only takes about a drop for a high that leaves some nauseous and others addicted. People don't often become Sicklite farmers, it is often something you are born into or it seems to choose you.
The creature that siphons the Sicklites, has been here much longer than any of humanity and will be here much after unless we remain useful but out of the way. Never seen, but always there, the creatures that siphon Sicklites enjoy that we herd their livestock and in return, they let us have our cute little lives.
Sicklite farmer's who decide to have a change in career disappear and Sicklite farmers who think they're in charge are fools.
