The World's Tendril

The Tendril that sits in the middle of Tendral, the capital city of Zebrana is quite literally a pipeline to the gods. At least that's what is believed, as only a god could create a mile-wide tendril stretching infinitely into the sky. The tendril gently glows with a soft blue arcane energy, and is the supplier of all arcane magic in Zebrana. The main tendril's body has an enchantment that whenever it received damage, the part removed or damaged will disintegrate into energy, and rejoin the main body, allowing for basic settlements to be built inside of it, allowing many flying races to build homes on or in the Tendril. There are even some temples or governmental structures within the Tendril, as the landmark that has caused the largest city in Zebrana to develop around it is a very convenient place for important structures.

Purpose / Function

This was how the Plane of Celestials and the Prime Material Plane were connected when they were originally made, and in addition was part of the cause of the Holy War. It stands as the largest landmark on Zebrana, taller than the tallest mountain and visible from any part of the known world, causing Tendral, the city considered to be the "capital" of Zebrana, to grow around it as people of all sorts made there way to the structure.

Alterations

Some carvings for homes or other buildings have been made, to allow people to give there. This hasn't affected the health of the Tendril at all, at least in no measurable way.

Architecture

The tendril is a deep, dark green, with a very subtle blue glow emanating from inside. This is similar to the ground, as small roots of the Tendril exist all over the world, causing any ground more than a few inches below the surface to have that slight blue glow (aside from a few outliers)
