Zebrana

Zebrana is a world flooded in turmoil. From the neverending Holy War to the eternal Blood War, the ancient Elven Conflict to the relatively recent Unfought War, conflict drives Zebrana. However, in the prime material plane, on the continent of Straenia, there lies the World Tendril, an ancient landmark signifying the first battle of the Holy War. This mile-wide spire is visible for hundreds of miles in all directions, as it reaches as fsr into the sky as anyone can see. The Tendril, with is faint blue pulse, is said to be the source of all magic and life on the planet. It also houses the largest city on Straenia, known as Tendral. This city is a bustling trade center and the capital of Straenia, reaching miles around the tendril and even, in some cases, up it. The Tendril is said to have spread its roots long ago when the gods fought over who would rule the newly born planet. The Tendril was a temporary solution, but rather than a conclusion being reached, the gods began to fight over who should rule, and thus began the Holy War, which rages on to this very day.   Zebrana is dominated by the three core races, Elves, Dwarves, and Humans, in approximately equal numbers, though humans may have a slight number advantage. Many other races also dot the landscape, who exist for many, many reasons.
