Palma (Pall-muh)
A somewhat unique location within Feland, Palma prides itself on being an up and coming vacationing and tourist destination. Though the town has most of the expected facilities and amenities, including a harbor for travel and trade, its main attractions are the breathtaking beaches, surrounding ruins and a museum of ancient relics. Though the town hasn't blossomed into a mecca of wealth, tourism and glamour yet, the local government is convinced they have all the makings of one and that it is simply a matter of time until people come from halfway across the continent just for Palma's unique attractions.
One other unique thing about Palma is how integrated it is with the Pauci. While it is true that the Pauci are a people that has a tenuous history with Feland and are much harder to find than they once were many centuries ago, Palma stands as an exception to the tumultuous and bloody history between these two nations. In fact, the town's mayor is someone with Pauci blood running through their veins, a result of an unlikely and amorous pairing. A secondary goal of Palma is to spread their philosophy that the Pauci can not only be accepted into Feland and their bloody history put all in the past, but also that the native nation can possibly be revived and restored to their former glory in time. In fact, the museum and surrounding ruins have been established and preserved, respectively, for that very purpose. Time will tell whether that dream can become a reality, and whether that is even a good idea in the first place.
