Medine (Meh-deen)

A town within the nation of Feland. This town is somewhat unique compared to other settlements in Feland due to the fact that its demographics skew heavily against the "standard" humanoid races of humans, elves, dwarves, etc, and more heavily towards the more exotic races, and that is not an accident. Medina's founders in fact have it enshrined in their local constitution that their town be a safe haven and a true mixing pot for all races, and to never let any one group become too insular or powerful such that a hostile majority comes to power. So far, that mission has bore fruit and this settlement boasts such achievements as: the most balanced population by race, the most number of interracial marriages, the most number of cross-race offspring, and some of the lowest crime rates across the nation. Still, even with all of that positive news, Medina is not without conflict and there are even some who believe the entire town is less of a utopia and more of a master plan slowly simmering until it is ready to deploy.
