Grivania (Grih-vah-nee-uh)

Founded in the taiga environment of northern Norost, close to a nourishing river and bountiful forest, sits Grivania. Intended as simply a small and peaceful town, this settlement has since become something of a haven for Druids, Rangers and all those who appreciate nature at its purest. The connection to the natural world is so strong in this town, in fact, that the very architecture has begun to shift such that its citizens live more in caves, boroughs, warrens, dens and other abodes that fuse with the land itself.
Because of Grivania's tight connection with nature the people who live there have a special knack for farming and homesteading, making the settlement large, but low in population density. They are seen as one of Feland's best sources of fruits, vegetables and animal products, which is quite the feat considering Zatvor's already impressive natural ability to accelerate and enhance natural life of all kinds. The abundance of food and the peaceful nature of the location has also made the populace of Grivania very welcoming to strangers and willing to share their bounty. They've become a tight-knit community willing to move mountains for their fellow man, but also willing to extend a helping hand to many who arrive with need.
