Craven's Bay
Craven's Bay would be a warthog's paradise. The ground throughout the town is a wet sticky mud making it difficult to walk. Abandoned boots can be seen across the town, embedded in the mud, unable to be retrieved by their owners. Unlike the other towns surrounding the Lakes of Kaa Craven's Bay is not a tourist destination and it's economy is based largely on the fish trade. The whole town has a strong smell of fish which is most concentrated at the town's main square where a daily fish market is held. The town is surrounded on three sides by the lake of Kaa, which in summer provides a beautiful backdrop, but now in winter it has a menacing appearance with a thick layer of fog hugging the water surface. The town buildings have a shanty town look about them and are built from wood remains of wrecks that are washed up on the lake shore. In the town's main square is a bronze statue to the town's founder, Siden The Slippery. Legend has it he was a Merman, who was bullied by his own people in the Lake of Kaaa so swam ashore, cut off his tail in shame and started the community. The statue gruesomely shows him half way through removing his tail.
