The Elder Imperium

The Elder Imperium is the one true home of the Elves, and is the home of the Elder Tree.

Demographics

The Elder Imperium is the main home for the defenders of the Elder Tree, the Wood Elves. The Wood Elves are the most predominant elven sect to live here, as this is their main home. The Elves here ensure the protection of the tree, while also housing the Elder Council. The Elves here dedicate their lives to the Elder Tree, and therefor tend to it, pray to it, etc.

Government

The Elder Council is the main governing body of the Elven people. They make decision and pass laws that effect all of the Elven cities. The council is made up of the leaders from each elven city and they meet when needed to make decisions and ensure they are all prospering as a people.

Defences

The city is defended by the greatest warriors the Elves have to offer. The Elder Guard, is a group of elite soldiers picked from each faction. These soldiers are given the honor of the defending the tree and the people of the great city.

Industry & Trade

Being a place of such religious importance, art and blessed items are sought after by the other elves. They have little to trade, as they don't really need to trade. Their civilization, with the aid of the other elven cities, is extremely diverse and self sufficient.

Infrastructure

The Elder Tree is a magical tree that provides many useful resources for magic users. The leaves can be used to strengthen a spellbook, or be a powerful catalyst for specific spells. The Wood Elves are also pioneers of the druidic craft, and the city is home to some of the most powerful druids in the world.

Architecture

The buildings here are made from the white trees that surround the Elder Tree. They are smooth and wavy, mostly inspired by the twisting forest around them.
