Saragat

Saragat is believed by some to be the first civilization to discover arcane magic. Saragat is located deep underground and is famous geographically for its gems and minerals. Saragat is one of the largest and most influential cities in Dalor, and is a sister city to Norfield

Demographics

Most of the citizens in the city are miners and workers of the materials found in said mines. The upper class of this city is made up of practitioners of the arcane, and entrepreneurs responsible for the mines and trade. Nobility and tradition is not cared for here, and everyone starts with an equal chance for the most part.

Government

Saragat is run by a council of wizards called the Saragat Sanctum. They are very strict in their governmental structure and are very numbers focused instead of people focused. golems patrol the city as guards and crime overall is relatively low.

Industry & Trade

This city makes much of its money on their ore mines and gemstones. They are rather protective of their magic and do not give away their secrets.

Infrastructure

The self repairing Golem guard is very unique here and allows them to not have to hire guard. They are also famous for discovering Dunamancy.

Assets

Saragat is a hub for adventurers, it has metals and supplies for those who like to get up close and personal, as well as supplies for those who are magically inclined. Oryn is a rare white metal that takes magic extremely well.
