Ebonstar

Ebonstar is the capital of Anadare. It’s foundations are believed to be the same ones that stood when the gods fought back The Void. The gods depicted in This story are most often the same ones worshipped by those in Katal, so it is common to find acolytes of the various gods visiting this holy ground.

Demographics

Being one of the largest cities in the word, Ebonstar has a wide range of economic standings. Racially the city is rather equal, although Goliaths will find it difficult to leave in peace here, as the long standing grudge between giants and dragons continues, even thousands of years after the War of Kings. The city is run off of a capitalist system that bases its entire economy off of trade. Taxes here are minimal as the city gets much of its funding from the 7 city states.

Government

The city is run by the Ancient Golden Dragon Draxis. He rules the entire continent, and Ebonstar is his own personal territory. In his ancient wisdom, he runs the Golden Battalion, a military force that polices and protects the entire continent. Since the city is so large, Draxis has divided it into 5 districts, each run by a chamberlord. These chamberlords govern each district and enforce the laws set by Draxis.

Defences

The Golden Battalion is a very formidable force, and if the walls sorrounding the city survived a war between The Void and the gods, than how could any mortal army topple the ancient stone. Surrounding the city are unlivable ruins that stood before the great battle. These ruins create a ring around the city roughly 2 miles wide. These ruins are home to many of the extremely poor and downtrodden. These ruins also make it very difficult to send an organized army through. This does, however, make it very easy for smugglers and enemies to slip into the city unnoticed.

Industry & Trade

The cities size also makes it one of the most popular spots for wannabe adventurers and various adventuring guilds. This popularity resulted in hundreds of taverns, Smiths and suppliers. The adventurers make up much of the cities economical cycle.

Assets

Almost anything the heart desires can be bought here. The Ograndahd Market is one of the largest markets I. The word, and is the center of trade form thousands of business owners. There is also rumor of a great treasure lying beneath the city on the ancient ruins, but those who get passed the Golden Battalion and manage to delve inside, never return.
