Alera

The home of the High Elves, Alera is a place full of history and knowledge. Their entire civilization is based around the Aleran Vault, a great library full of ancient texts and research. High elves believe that knowing where you came from is important in evolving as a society and a culture.

Demographics

Intelligence is the most valuable quality to High Elves, and people who show exceptional brilliance become the most important. The Brightest are given the honor in protecting and keeping the Aleran Vault.

Government

Their government is lead a group called Spectators, the leader of which is the High Spectator. They function as an oligarchic council that makes the decisions for the city. They are also in charge of the Vault, and closely guard its knowledge. The current high spectator is High Spectator Rubinan.

Defences

Most of their defenses come from various wards and runes placed around the city to protect from intruders. They also have mages that act as the guard there, and have very few peoples trained in the martial forms of combat.

Infrastructure

Being so knowledgeable of the advancements made by civilization over the last 1000 years, they are also rather modern in their society. They have basic plumbing, warm water, impressive home appliances, etc.

Assets

They are very famous for their surplus of quality paper, as well as being a large source for invention and innovation. They trade often with the other elves and have good stock of the essential items.
