Pakatmayo

Pakatmayo is a sea-side village dependent on the tributaries of the Jequetepeque river, but also positioned to exploit fishing and seal-hunting along the sea. It is the ancestral home of the fox family. The people of the village are mostly Quingnam speaking fishermen, but the nobility speak Muchik and here manage to coexist in relative harmony.
