Plaza of the Four Temples

A vivid market around the sacred mere, a muddy hole in the middle of the plaza with crystal clear water, in the pulsing heart of Vapore. This is the Plaza of the four Temples.

Purpose / Function

The Plaza of the four temples is located in Vapore, on the left side of the river. Several religious buidings look out on the plaza, but the most important are the shrine of light, the house of healing and the coven of the flame's temples. In the middle of the Plaza there is the sacred mere.

In the Plaza is held a weekly market, where all kind of goods and valuables are found. The atmosphere in the market is surreal, it seems to be inside a moltitude of colours, sounds and smells that can make a man forget about its original purpose and spend his whole day around the different stalls.

Alterations

Intially, the plaza wasn't paved, just a muddy open space. Between 4978 and 4979 the plaza was paved, leaving just the mere untouched.

In the year 5387, the flooring was renovated, and was built a temple around the sacred mere.

History

The Plaza was built around the Sacred Mere after Vapore conquered it's independence, as a thanksgiving to the gods who helped to defeat the enemies of the city.

The area around the mere became the religious center of the city, and several temples and shrines were built around it.
