Ysireth is an elf-dominant world. As such, the word ‘humanoid’ to describe upright, bipedal, intelligent people is considered racist. Instead, “kinvar” is used to mean a sapient person of a humanoid build; at its root, it means “related person” in reference to the characteristics shared among all the prime races and many other intelligent races. Kinvar is the singular (“person”). Kinvari is the plural (“people”).
