Pel'Aeldvari

Fleet Elves (formerly to’Aeldvari) are Wild Elves that are reminiscent of fauns in many ways and also known as Deer Elves, Running Elves, or Brown Elves. They are attuned to Earth magic and tend to be crepuscular, but may also be diurnal or nocturnal.
Fleet Elves are on the shorter side of Aeldvari, averaging at 5.5’ tall with toned to thin builds and stunning physical grace, balance, and agility. Their skin is a wide range of browns that may be grey, yellow, or red in tint; their eyes have black or dark brown irises with black sclera; and their wavy or curly hair is usually medium to darker brown.
Fleet Elves are known for their nomadic nature, their intense connection to many forms of wildlife, and being very uncomfortable within any civilized setting. Their aesthetic revolves around animal parts, specifically antlers, bones, hooves, teeth, and furs/hides, and they have no permanent architecture to speak of. They are mildly manabound, preferring mana once a month on average, and live an average of 500 years.
Their language, Pelvaren or Pelfar, has hundreds of different but mutually-understandable dialects and is loosely based on Romani. Fleet Elves are the least likely of the main Aeldvaren subraces to know or speak High Aeldvaren.
