Galanis Furora
The Galanti League serves as vital protection of the Galanti Cluster from outside threats. Its founder, Galanis Furora, did an excellent job at building stable foundations for the organisation, catapulting it into a position where the Galanti League was the most highly regarded group of peoples in the Milky Way.
This came crashing down thanks to Galani's personal beliefs of the oanie, which manifested into horrific attacks on innocent citizens of the Milky Way. He was forced to resign from his position, and has not been heard from since.
His body has become fused with several mechanical parts, making him a cyborg. His reptilian physiology has remained the same while implants in his neck and spine give him additional physical strength. Mechanical implants are common in cvorvatians, many getting them at a young age, as Galanis did. Galanis and his boyfriend bought implants on a night out with friends, in a drunken state. Galanis was the only one to not regret their implants.
Traumatic Childhood
Galanis' hatred toward the oanie stems from childhood trauma. On the 4th Naihil 1982, when Galanis was 16, six Karkhalan spacecrafts attacked and destroyed much of his home city, Xchieli. His childhood house was decimated, along with six-hundred thousand other buldings. The attacks did not stop there, however.
Once major trade cities were destroyed over several months, the oanie then began targeting refugee sites, one of which Galanis made home in. Galanis and his mother, his only surviving relative, were able to escape the planet on one of three escape ships which fled to neighbouring planet Lavasani. Anger and grief controlled his mind after this, leading him to create the Galanti League to fight people threatening his and and other planet in the Galanti Cluster.
Collapse of the Galanti League
Galanis led the Galanti League for thirteen long years. The organisation was widely well-received, having stopped attacks on over six planets. Throughout these thirteen years Galanis made several private and public remarks about the oanie, stating how he wanted to "destroy them" and "wipe them out of existence".
Despite the oanie having a terrible reputation for colonising planets, people found these comments distasteful. 46 years ago, Galanis ordered a raid of an oanie-owned warehouse on the banks of the Galantis Cluster. This unprompted attack drove the public against the Galanti League, who promoted peacefulness. Galanis received the most backlash, and he was forced to step down from his position. He left the League entirely, replaced by Natani Melle. Melle's opening speech addressed previous matters, encouraging the public that the Galanti League would do better.
