The watering hole

The watering hole is a neutral zone in the middle of the map. With all major factions agreeing not to fight there, any conflict is considered an aggression to all other factions in the world. With each faction having a small encampment to "hold" their water hole access, a uneasy truce between many types of species and troops happen there.

  Surprisingly the truce has caused new allies, new enemies, and occasional engagements outside the protected zone. No water truck is ever touched via factions moving in and out as per the agreement, though nasty looks happen all the time. Its rare to see high value targets here due to the unusual effect near the water that makes it dangerous for any leader to go.

  Within 100ft of the water, Any attack reflects it back on a member of equal value in that persons connection. If you don't have someone of equal value to get hurt as well, your attack does nothing. Even if you don't believe its the leader, if it truly is, then its counted, the waters cant be fooled. In the center of the lake is a small island with an epitome stating that this is the start of the chaos wars and anyone who apposes it, apposes the chaotic beasts themselves.

  Extremely rarely, the center island is used as a fully open meeting between the factions, because if anything happens, the other one dies as well. When this was found out, it caused the neutral zone as they realized the chaotic creatures themselves defended this, and fearing another incursion, they made it out of fear of being taken out via everyone else due to lack of water, and due to the possibility of pissing off the creatures.

  If you want to get in contact with a group, here's the best place, and it is a decent trading hall between the differing factions. even ones that normally don't trade, are willing to bargain here for items they really want/need.
