Eden, Research and development Floor 2
Here is the 2nd highest layer, the research and development floor is known for its much nicer conditions compared to below. The streets being lined with higher quality jobs, better roads and housing conditions, this is where most people dream to live out their lives. Very few blue collar jobs exist on this floor, and those that do, are all high quality. Entertainment is also more prominent here as those who are here can actually afford to offer a dollar to extra expenses.
The hydroponics level:
This area has flowing waters through the lines, open trays fill massive halls of sun lamps as they keep food growing at an alarming rate. Very few people get to actually see back here to see the advanced techniques they use to produce enough food for a city of this size. Supposedly this is where water is made as well, but no one can confirm this, and those who do work there are very tight lipped. Those who have trespassed are rarely seen again.
The Research labs:
These labs are completely locked out, no one allowed in, but this is where the technology for everything eden uses comes from, with direct connections to the priests, they have constant support to continue forwarding the research towards allowing eden to land once more. Scientists are normally seen protected via guardian corps, and have been known to suicide instead of speaking to those unauthorized.
The advanced factory line:
Where there is white collar jobs, there still has to be production, here is where all high quality goods come from, and are much more open to be entered and even observe the workers in action, being granted much nicer conditions compared to everywhere else. People with proper permissions even get free items from this district, and any further may be purchased directly from their lines. The majority of people work in this area.
The Entertainment district:
Every town has to have one, and this one is much cleaner than the rest, filled with movie theaters, game booths, Mini-sports locations, Virtual adventuring, Night life attractions, and amusement rides, many come here at least once a week for their fill of entertainment. Those who work here are highly polite, and those who aren't are normally sent down a level, as disagreements are to be dealt with properly instead of with karen like responses.
The housing district:
Here food and housing are stuck together as a single district, with resturants being split inbetween the apartment buildings. These look less cramped than those below, but still no yards, large houses, or multiple floors to peoples homes, being instead large appartment complexes to fit the large number of people. you can clearly see slight bias in some of the higher floors room sizes compared to the lower.
