The Hill Pub

Purpose / Function

The purpose of the Hill Pub was to create blackberry mead, highly addictive, for people in the world of Yellgove. It was created by Jackson Hill (The Jackal of the sea), son of Troy Hill (the blacksmith of Blackridge), His son created it as a dream of his as well as a source of money for his father fighting at the south border of Katyusha.

Design

there are two rooms on the bottom floor and six on the other two, they are all made out of spruce wood and most furniture in the rooms is made of spruce as well.

Entries

there is one door to each room, there are two doors to the kitchen on the bottom floor.

Sensory & Appearance

Each room feels warm and loving, there is always a song playing in the bar room, there is a nice smell of Blackberrys thought the building, and the people who work the bar, kitchen, and hotel all are extremely nice.

Denizens

There is a mission in my campaign where you can fight Jackson Hill once you track the reason why he adds the addictive crystals to his mead, note its not for the taste or look. Also at some points, his father will show up and if your adventurers would like you could battle both.

Contents & Furnishings

in the barroom, there are eight tables, a bar, 32 chairs, and two sitting booths all made from spruce and dyed leather of different colors. In the kitchen, there are four brass vats along with multiple stoves and other things for the Chiefs to cook on. In all of the other rooms, there is one trundle bed, one table, one chair, and one dresser. the beds have different colored quilts on them and also are very vibrant colors.

Valuables

there is a giant supply of BlackBerry Mead below the Pub along with a safe that has multiple checks, business papers, and silver in them.

Special Properties

there is running water, gas, lamps, mead vats, and stoves in the Pub.

Alterations

The building had a fire in the year 290 and had to be refurbished on the inside, it changed from its original spruce inside to a green-painted stone and wood inside. Also in 290, they added two extra wall beams to stop a collapse of the center of the building.

Architecture

The outside of the building is made from stone and there is a metal sign hanging outside of it that has a greatsword on it and the words, "welcome brothers and sisters to The Hill Pub". it has five windows, one on the first floor two on the other two floors. The roof is flat and made from spruce wood and has a hatch to the stairwell inside the building.

History

The Hill Pub was created in 289 when Jackson Hill turned 15, it was his birthday present. A fire happened a year later in the Pub after a test vat of BlackBerry mead was left heated for too long Jackson slept through the fire and is known to have the smell of burning pine around him wherever he goes because of it. Other than that Jackson ran the pub well for six years and then he started the production of Blackberry Mead, once he had the taste down, Once he started selling the mead people gained an addiction to it from a eatable crystal inside of it that caused heavy addictions. People soon started trying to kill him so Jackson carried a Greatsword with him and stamped a greatsword onto his sign.
