The Citadel

The Citadel is a city made by the other gods and goddesses of Katyusha to smite the Goddess Phusdite and her temple in the middle of Katyusha, it is the biggest city in Yellgove and is a trading hub for all of Yellgove. Demographics

There are not many different species around the inner parts of The Citadel but on the outsides, it becomes a very crowded area of different species of people, the docks are where there is the most change in people and species. The closer to the center of The Citadel you get the older and richer the families and guilds get, the Fallen Aasmiar are the most prominent people in The Citadel because they are able to survive The Frost and everything that is brought with it so they are the ones with the most expansive families and guilds in the area. There are only two major wealth classes in The citadel, the adventurer and the Guild riders. If you do things like murder, rape, or abuse then you are to be executed within the hour of the trial.

History

The Citadel was created as an act of defiance against the goddess Phusdite when she demanded that her temple become the capital of Katyusha, All other gods and goddesses came together to help the Katyushans build the city and that is why there are so many families and guilds in the city (also because its huge!). The gods and goddesses soon found out what their sister was made of when she created The Frost to destroy their city, they prepared for the frost by building the dungeons below the city so that their people could hide in the case that The Frost swept across the land. The Frost came too soon and it swept over the city killing everything that was not native to Katyusha, but anything below the city was saved and unharmed.

Architecture

The Architecture of The Citadel changes from place to place, but it is entirely made of types of stones and minerals from underground, except for the docks and the roofs of each house that are made out of waterborne clay and the occasional Spruce planks. most of the walls of each house are different colors, they sometimes match the type of families that own the area but all of the houses have at least two windows and a front and back door.

Geography

It is right at the edged of a bay leading into the Katyushan river and it is on a slight hill with plains all around it where multiple farms are. The Citadel is right on the northern ocean and the riverside.
