The beast of Lycan
Summary
The Lycan is a three-headed creature that was created by the God Gulo, the God of blacksmiths, He created the beast after his fortress, The Blackstone Keep, was captured by Smog forces. He created the Lycan by destroying a mountain west of his keep, when he destroyed it he took the minerals inside it and placed them upon three dead wolves and a bear hide. It created The Lycan and the God Gulo realized that his beast could not be controlled by even its creator and it started to reak havoc across the lands killing everything in its path and destroying countless lives and innocent villages. The Lycan soon disappeared into The Frost and was never seen again, yet its handiwork is still seen among the burning villages and leveled mountains.
Historical Basis
There was a known Smog invasion just after the capture of The Blackstone Keep, the people of Katyusha would rather call it a beast because of the atrocities that were committed by the Smog warriors, But the raids were to have ended about a week after the invasion but the stories of The Lycan did not end, it seems that the lies from the peoples mouth may have created he beast to destroy everything.
Spread
The Lycan mostly wreaked havoc across Katyusha, Smog, and Ceder. Its location is now unknown but its myths are everywhere and supposedly it stays in The Frost until it is ready to strike again. The Legend of the beast is common knowledge among the Katyushans but among other nations is as not as well known.
Variations & Mutation
There are multiple variations of the legend including the main one that was already explained AND the second one where people believe that it was The Smog warriors, most Katyushans believe it was a beast, most Ceder people believe it was the Smog because they can remember the Smog people traveling along there lands into Katyusha, and most of The Smog is in a mix of what they know and do not know because they know they raided for about six days and then backed off the Katyushan people once they were attacked by an unknown force that killed nearly half there men.
Cultural Reception
Most call it a Demonic creature that was made by Gulo, the blacksmith god, and that the beast was killed when it entered The Frost. In nearly all cultures it is seen as a sign that if you anger the gods then you shall receive no mercy.
In Literature
The books of the world had a noticeable spike of fiction books talking about giant monsters that adventurers killed off, along with multiple books talking about the Lycan.
In Art
There is a nation called Lakeland that uses the Lycan on its flag without realizing what it is, They wave there flag like it is a sign of honor even though it is more a sign of stupidness.
