The Smythsonni'yhon

The grand and magnificent, and largely subterranean building, custom built for Kano Jiro by a joint venture of Yenin & Sons Constuction and Blackwood Architects. The visible part of the building is a two story tower with large tinted glass circular room on the first floor, and a solid stone brick ground floor.

Purpose / Function

Built partly as a beautiful residence for a bachelor who seeks privacy away from the city, and partly as an impenetrable vault for his extensive and valuable collection.
