General Physical Condition

Felix has a muscular but lean form after years of intense martial training. Although he does not rely on his strength, preferring to rely on his speed and precision.

Body Features

His skin tone is slightly on the tanned side, spending hours in the outdoors. His Aasimar side shows through his unnaturally golden eyes and bright blonde hair.

Facial Features

Slender, masculine face, defined jawline and prominent cheek bones. No facial hair as it is shaven off routinely. Felix also bares scars and other marks from earlier fights he has been in.

Identifying Characteristics

Felix's entire body is covered in Tattoos, they flow in straight lines across his appendages with hints of celestial script. On his right forearm is a list of tenets written in Celestial, on the other Forearm is the image of an Owl, symbol of Athius. In celestial the tenets read:

Physical quirks

Felix appears to be ambidextrous, either born that way or through the time he spent learning to control his body. Depending on his location Felix will hold himself in different ways. If he is walking through a large city he will hunch over himself, closing his hood to appear almost invisible amongst the crowds. Spawning from his fears of standing out growing up. However when he is in a location he trusts, he walks with his head held high.

Special abilities

His natural affinity for the Divine gave Felix some access to radiant energy. This combined with the martial training allowed him to both offensively and defensively harness the energy; forming it into bolts that he could throw to strike at a distance.

Apparel & Accessories

Felix typically wears the same clothes, the trousers of his old apprentice Gi as he can move freely in them and a hooded jean jacket, both appearing to be very old and rarely cleaned outside of a hotel bathroom or nearby stream.

Specialized Equipment

Felix carries very little on him, he found it easier to travel light while searching for The Prisoner. Typically the only key items he has on him is his backpack and an ornate dagger he stole from the Monastery he was sent to. He carries no other weapons.

Personal history

Felix Osswald was born to a human family, Sigmund and Katerina Osswald. During his youth he was treated differently to the other students because of his golden tinted skin, hair and eyes. The other children were always tentative around him, some showed outright fear to treated him like an animal in a zoo. Felix didn’t react to this treatment well, he would lash out in rages and sometimes seriously injure the other children. His parents hoped he would grow out of this behaviour but it worsened when he entered his adolescence. The episodes of rage became more common and lasted longer. His parents didn’t understand what was happening so they sent him away to a Monastery in the hopes that they could train some kind of discipline and calm into him. Sadly while at the Monastery Felix was constantly in trouble. During sparring with the others he would lose his temper when he would be beaten and lash out violently at his opponent. This would happen often and land him alone in his room for extended periods of meditation as punishment. During one of these punishment sessions Felix was contacted by a great Deity called a Ki-Ri who informed him that he was a special child who had the power of a celestial running through his blood. It was also explained that his innately angelic nature meant his human emotions would be much more intense, which is why he had always had temper issues. The Ki-Rin had decided to help remind Felix of these dark pulls by magically tattooing 5 tenants into his right forearm that he must follow. This was a deliberately painful experience to be sure he would remember. The Monks also tried two other forms of punishment. The first was to teach him carpentry. The Monks saw Felix’s strength and dexterity during his training, so they decided to teach him the art of carpentry. Using him to restore broken doors and fix windows. This, however, didn’t work, the Monastery ended up with a lot more broken doors and smashed windows. The second method was to teach Felix the relaxing practise of botany and garden care. This, annoyingly to Felix, was the one thing that seemed to work. He took great pleasure in calmly tending to the Monastery Gardens. This gradually became knowledge of herbalism as he would learn more about growing different plants and what they could do. The Ki-Rin also told Felix that it can meet him during his sleep to guide him when he was lost. However most of these meetings were filled with scolding as he continued to act out violently until he was removed from the Monastery. From then on he spent a few years as a hermit moving from town to town in the hopes to seek out evil and stop it. This was until he met with a powerful elderly Paladin of protection called Jacques Bernard who had captured a dangerous and Evil Wizard/Sorcerer/Warlock/Creature (not sure what the prisoner) in an demiplane prison at the edge of The Sprawl. Jacques asked if Felix could continue to protect the Prison while he continued his battle against evil in the world. Felix, understanding that his own problems have done nothing but get him into serious trouble and after consulting the Ki-Rin, decided it would be best if he secluded himself from the general population and protect this Prison. During his seclusion Felix perfected his martial arts and gained a better understanding of his natural celestial powers, but still lacked control over his human emotions. This was ideal for a long time until he was attacked by a group of roaming bandits looking for any gold that the prison might hold. Felix struggled to fight off the bandits and during his distraction one of them freed the powerful creature. Felix doesn't remember seeing The Prisoner, just knowing that it had escaped into society and that he must hunt it down and bring it back to its prison.

Felix has learned a lot from his conversations and the guidance given by Kiran. He tries to follow his tenets as closely as he can while still finding the best outcome. However he does not judge others for their actions, understanding that everyone must follow their own paths in this world. He can only help them as a guide.

Felix is typically open about almost everything in his life. The only things he will not talk openly about are the fights and why he was removed from the Monastery.

Motivation

First to find The Prisoner and bring it back to the jail on The Sprawl. Seconds, and much wider, to find peace within himself and to gain more control over his raging mood swings.

Felix's very personal connection to the divine guide Kiran means he doesn't follow any God traditionally, typically seeing it as more of a parent or teacher over a deity.
