A hybrid Dismantler.
A
hybrid is the offspring of one robot race and another robot race.
All robot races can produce viable offspring with one another, and most robots are considered hybrids, as different races of robots are mixed together in different nations.
Hybridization works as an 'either or', with offspring being either parent's race. The exception to this is
Dismantlers, where all offspring will be Dismantlers as Dismantler genes are dominant.
Another exception (though more a random chance) is that the offspring won't be either parent's race, but will inherit that of their grandparent's, great-grandparent's etc. This is fairly uncommon, but does happen:
Romulus is a
CA born to two
Tersi (
Orno and
Aisha), but whose grandfather was also a CA. This phenomenon can also happen with eye color and some traits.
EFFECTS
Depending on the combination, some offspring can display certain traits not normally present in their race (eg. a hybrid Dismantler can have a blue eye).

VIEWS ON HYBRIDS & HYBRIDIZATION
Views on hybridization vary between cultures, with some celebrating it, others looking down on all forms of it, and others only accepting of certain combinations.
For instance, many Dismantlers are vehemently against any sort of hybridization between them and other races, On the other hand, most CAs don’t tend to care, and they commonly hybridize with Tersi.
