Naming Traditions

The names used by the Forgotten were more like titles or epitaphs. Earned through accomplishments and written in draconic runes. Example include Maker-of-Mighty-Weapons, Wise-Sage-Beneath, Feeder-of-Many-Mouths, Cares-for-Young, Prays-in-Light, and so on.

History

Little is known about The Forgotten. Even "The Forgotten" is a placeholder name used by archaeologist, Tushar Sunborne. They are assumed to be a mammalian, sapient species related to humans or cinder elves, and their half-elf counterparts. This species is assumed to have built the Weeping City, but they disappeared leaving very little evidence of their species behind. Though their culture is present throughout the ruins of The Weeping City. As such it is likely that "the forgotten" were a cultural group as opposed to a specific biological species.
