Eir Rex (a.k.a. the Seer)

Personality

Eir is elegant where her partner is wild. She lounges around her house in long gowns and full makeup, and has to force Asterope to put on clothes at all. She comes off as a fairly calm and sensible person, but she's also never been the voice of reason whenever Asterope has done something crazy. She and Asterope are constantly making bets on frivolous things, like what time Nero will come over for tea. She always invites others to place bets with her, but won't hesitate to use her mind-reading ability to cheat.

Body Features

Eir is a shapely hourglass, and goes to great length to make sure that she always appears elegant with not a hair out of place.

Special abilities

Eir has the ability to read one's immediate "surface" thoughts. On her own, she cannot delve into someone's mind for all of their memories, but she can read what someone is currently thinking about. Eir is also able to telepathically communicate with Asterope, though she's never shown to be able to do such with anyone else. Nero's current theories are either that she has this ability from her bond with the demoness, or else it's simply because they've spent so much bloody time together.
With Asterope being knowledgeable in daemon runes, they've found that Eir's powers can be amplified to see other's past memories, with heavy drawbacks that make it impossible to use in combat. The 'ceremony' takes time to prepare, and the person whose thoughts Eir is reading must be somewhat willing to undergo the process.

Apparel & Accessories

Eir likes long, floor-length dresses and garbs herself in silk and expensive fabrics even if all she's doing is reading a book on her couch. She does, however, have an aversion to shoes.

Personal history

Eir is the first-born daughter of a primordial goddess, a being who went by the name of Rex. Rather uncreatively, she was named "heir" = Eir. Her mother's last name turned into the family surname for all of her children. Half-daeva, half-fae, only one generation off from a primordial being. She is built larger than the common fae, standing at 6'0", and has never had a human transformation. Her wings, when she chooses to reveal them, are long, feathery, and a pristine white.

Sexuality

Eir is technically bisexual, having only sought out male partners before she met Asterope, but because she's been with Aster for so long (and for the forseeable future) she labels herself a lesbian.

Morality & Philosophy

Eir has loose morals, somewhat of a requirement for loving someone like Asterope.

Known Languages

Eir is an avid scholar and voracious book-reader. She grew up speaking daevish with her mother, ancient fae where she grew up, and has since learned every known human language and dialect. Because of her relationship with Asterope she also knows more ancient daemon runes than most, but if she's in a situation where she has to use them she makes Aster draw them for her.
