names

Human religion in the south is mixed. Most follow Tasakm , as Tasak was a human, but there is a good population of those who follow The Order of Martalia. When Estean missionaries landed years ago, their teachings took hold in some human pockets. There are very few priests and clerics who trained in Estea, and their views on magic are much more lax than their northern siblings.Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Southerners consider very high, prominent cheekbones and tall statures to be beautiful. They also enjoy styling their natural hair in a variety of braids, the more elaborate the better.
Gender Ideals
Southerners tend to assign gender based on sex at birth. There are no concrete gender roles either way, it is mainly for medical purposes. Things like titles, occupation, and roles are not restricted by gender. The King is King, man or woman, soldiers are soldiers just the same. Gender as more bearings on what a person expects someone to look like, the aura they put out, rather than any specific role. It's more about presentation than anything. Pronouns tend to be used loosely once one enters adulthood.
Trans individuals are largely accepted, many playing with expectations of "passing" and presentation. Some don't care to "pass" at all, as it is considered rude to purposefully misgender someone anyways.
Relationship Ideals
Southerners care about having strong bloodlines. This is not about keeping them "pure," but about introducing new skills to a family. Someone from a family of soldiers may want to marry someone from a family of doctors, being able to give their children a variety of choices in who they want to be as adults.
