Icu

Icu is a frontier System of the Federation of Xah that consists of a single B0 class star and a solitary orbiting rocky body. It is situated in the middle of the gap between the Orion arm of the galaxy that houses most of humanity's occupied systems, and the Perseus arm, with the nearest star system over 40 lightyears away. Even the local star is a distant blue-tinted gleam in the dim sky.
The Federation of Xah uses the system as a penal station for some of the Federation's most dangerous criminals, typically high-ranking Warrior caste members convicted of treasonous behaviour. The single world is a desolate, barren body and by principle, has no permanently stationed space craft, only visiting supply ships.

Description
Small, dark and cold, the world's population is housed in a single settlement, deep underground, accessed only by a long elevator shaft from a surface space port. Whilst technically a prison, the inmates are expected to grow their own food and maintain the settlement themselves, with only a minor security presence ensuring the population remains in place.
