Session 30: Inside Mecha-Tiamat Report
General Summary
The Patrollers receive alarming news from Lola Carly about Mecha-Tiamat's rampage near Kaneyama. They learn that it's powered by an imprisoned young amethyst dragon. Their mission involves being inserted into Mecha-Tiamat's back port through a unique method similar to a "pokeball."
After flying in, the Patrollers are dropped off by an unidentified ally. Within the cloaca, D'Wat and T-R01d already await them. Thirteen uses their magic to send a powerful tidal wave up the cloaca, flushing out draconians they need to defeat.
Navigating further, they battle through Mecha-Tiamat's guts and stomach before encountering an obstacle coming down the pipes. In this battle, a draconian mage escapes to warn the awaiting dragonborn forces.
Eventually, they reach the heart of Mecha Tiamat, where a baby amethyst dragon is held captive within a force bubble, bound by mind flayer technology. A challenging fight ensues against dragonborn loyal to Tiamat, a psychic dragonborn, a blue abishai wizard with potent lightning abilities, and a dragon construct carved from crystal.
During the fight, they discover the dragonborn of Tiamat's necrotic shadowy fire breath. The blue abishai poses a threat with lightning and invisibility, but D'Wat takes down the artificial dragon with his psychic knives.
T-R01d engages in a grapple with the psychic dragonborn while the others confront the dragonborn of Tiamat.
Oyxuysi deduces how to release the baby topaz dragon from its force bubble, and Zernon successfully frees it using his claws. With the power source gone, Mecha Tiamat begins descending into the waters below. Lola Carly reopens the "Pokeball," allowing the Patrollers to re-enter it. Before leaving, they spot a treasure trove in the corner and quickly grab some loot before departing, each with varying results.
